Terms of Service

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts concluded between the user (hereinafter "Customer") and Byteman UG (haftungsbeschränkt) c/o Winter-Werndl-Laue Rechtsanwälte Platzl 1a 80331 München Email: contact@urlify.eu (hereinafter referred to as "URLIFY") via the website urlify.eu. Deviating conditions of the customer will not be recognized unless URLIFY expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

2. Service Description

URLIFY offers an online service for shortening URLs (internet addresses). Registered users can generate and manage shortened URLs. The scope of services may vary and depends on the respective booked tariff or usage within the framework of a free offer.

3. Registration and User Account

The use of certain functions requires registration. Registration is done via a Single Sign-On service (SSO), such as Google or GitHub. The customer is obliged to provide correct and complete information during registration.

4. Contract Conclusion

A usage contract between the customer and URLIFY is concluded with the use of the service or with registration. The contract can be terminated at any time by written notice (email is sufficient).

5. Prices and Payment Terms

If fee-based services are offered, billing is done through the payment service provider Stripe. Prices are clearly displayed before concluding a fee-based subscription. All prices are inclusive of statutory VAT, unless otherwise stated.

6. User Obligations

The user undertakes to:

• not distribute illegal content through the service,
• not generate URLs that lead to harmful, illegal or abusive content,
• treat their access data confidentially.

URLIFY reserves the right to block or delete abusive content or accounts without prior notice.

7. Availability

URLIFY strives to ensure the most uninterrupted availability of the service possible. However, no guarantee is given for a specific availability or freedom from errors.

8. Liability

URLIFY is only liable without limitation in case of intent and gross negligence. In case of slight negligence, URLIFY is only liable in case of violation of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. Further liability is excluded.

9. Privacy

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the privacy policy available on the website.

10. Contract Duration and Termination

The contract runs for an indefinite period and can be terminated by either party at any time without observing a period of notice. Terminations must be sent by email to contact@urlify.eu.

11. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is – insofar as permissible – Munich. Should individual provisions of these GTC be wholly or partially invalid, the effectiveness of the remaining regulations remains unaffected.
